The Visionary

Bishop Anthony Wennie is a man called by God with a Commission “To Raise an Army”. A commission geared toward pursuing the enemy and setting the captives free.

Born on December 19, 1962 in Sanoyea, Bong County, Bishop Wennie is a 1984 graduate from the William V.S.Tubman High school with a Diploma and a 1987 graduate of the Liberia Theological Institute with an Associate Degree in Theology. He is also a 1995 graduate from the World of Faith Bible Institute, WOFBI, with a Certificate in Ministerial Training. He also earned another one year Certificate from the Spiritual Life Training Center in the year, 2002.

In 2008, Bishop Wennie obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree,( BTh) in Bible and Theology from the Global University, Monrovia, Liberia.

Bishop Wennie is currently President of the On the Mark International Pastoral Fellowship (OHMIPF)- Liberia Chapter. He is Founder and General Overseer of the Army of the Living God Ministries, Inc.(ALGOM)/(Overcomers’ Churches) in Liberia. A ministry with a vision raise and equip men and women for the end time harvest. Currently, the Ministry has six (6) branches in Montserrado and Margibi Counties.

Bishop Wennie is a full-time pastor at the Central Church (Headquarters) branch. He is also Founder and President of the ALGOM school of Healing and ALGOM school of Prayer. A school devoted to 1) Teaching and disseminating information on Christian Spiritual Warfare, and 2) preparing an army of progressive prayer warrior and intercessors in this end time.

Anointed by God, Bishop Wennie is an Evangelist, Teacher, and Preacher ot the Word of God and God has demonstrated his miraculous power through him in his call to ministry. He is married to beautiful Rev./Moth. Lucy Y. Wennie, Residence Pastor, Overcomers’ Central Church, and they are blessed with two wonderful children, Victoria Favor and Victor Elijah Wennie.

On February 25, 2017; he was ordained Bishop of the ALGOM Ministries after serving as Pastor from its founding in 1995.
